1958 United Republican Dinner

January 20, 1958 dinner from the International Amphitheatre in Chicago. President Eisenhower was the featured speaker. He was introduced by Vice-President Nixon, who was in New York, linked via closed circuit television to Chicago and 42 other cities around the United States. Many congressional members participated from Washington, D.C.; Dinah Shore and Company provided the entertainment.
