JFK Inaugural
Luncheon Menu:
With the proliferation
of Inaugural balls, the "official" Inaugural meal is generally recognized
to be the luncheon held in the Capitol to celebrate the swearing-in ceremony
and the events surrounding the festivities. With all of his Hollywood
connections, relative youth and beautiful family, JFK epitomized style,
glamour and the promise of an invigorated America. As might be suspected,
the Kennedy luncheon was an elegant, stylish meal that concluded with
Pattiserie Bateau Blanche; in a nod to circumstances, the main course
was New England Boiled Stuffed Lobster from Kennedy's beloved New England
and Prime Texas Ribs of Beef au jus from Vice President Johnson' s home
state.
This valuable, authentic
menu from that historic, classic luncheon is presented in a clear, two-sided
shadow box frame. The menu is easily removable for opening, viewing and
handling; it is a fantastic piece of historic memorabilia from one of
the most popular presidents in American history.

Ronald Reagan
Reproduction Menu
President Reagan's
conservative philosophy was a simple one of strong defense and smaller
government; his skill in selling his ideas to the American people and
the world earned him the nickname "the Great Communicator" and sparked
what became known as the Reagan Revolution. His Hollywood background helped
restore some of the style and glamour that had seemed missing from the
White House since the Kennedy years.
This terrific reproduction
captures the late President making a toast; the 9/16/1988 luncheon is
in honor of former NATO Secretary General Woerner. Beautifully framed
and in a double, acid-free mat. Frame approx. 12"x15"

LBJ Original
Menu
President Johnson's
term in office is marked by its sudden commencement at the time of President
Kennedy's assassination, enactment of the Civil Rights Act and the escalation
of the Viet Nam War. The famous photo of LBJ holding his beagle by the
ears stands in stark contrast to the elegance of his predecessor in office,
but as can be seen from this authentic menu, LBJ's White House was tasteful
and stylish.
This historic menu,
complete with gold presidential seal, is an original. Beautifully framed
and in a double, acid-free mat. Frame approx. 12"x15".
