About the Author

Rob DiSilvestre started assembling his unique menu collection in 1999. Today he owns one of the largest private libraries of collectible meals in the world. Collectible Meals: Real Menus from History and Hollywood is the first of a series highlighting some of his favorite menus; Collectible Meals- Second Helping is the latest.

Mr. DiSilvestre is a telecommunications executive turned freelance writer and author. He has taught seminars and appeared all over the country from the Aspen Food and Wine Classic in Colorado to the Charlotte Antique and Collectibles Show in North Carolina. He is available for book signings, memorabilia shows and personal appearances, please contact him through this website.

A member of the National Writer's Association, his work has appeared in magazines on-line, in print and in various newspapers around the country. He lives in Fort Mill, South Carolina with his wife and two children where he serves as a youth mentor and volunteer for the Cancer Society and March of Dimes.
